Senior Produce Team Members (Night Shift)

Spud is looking for two Senior Produce Team Members! 

The schedules that are being recruited for the two full time positions are:

1. Monday to Thursdays from 8:30pm to 7:00am (full time)

Sr. Team Members are warehouse team members who hold additional responsibility, contributing to the overall success of daily operations. The Sr. Team Member role dedicated to the Produce department will be focused almost exclusively on the quality control of all incoming produce as well as existing produce stock. The compensation for this role will be as per the Collective Agreement starting at $18.25 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Perform bin audits in the produce coolers for packing and product quality throughout the day
• Daily produce quality inspections of all new receiving and existing overstock
• Training/assisting new team members
• Opening/closing the facility or parts of set-up/take-down, in the absence of management
• Work in function when Sr. Team Member duties are not required.
• Help your team members to excel
• Other duties as assigned

Physical demands & working conditions:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously
• Ability to work on your feet all day, bending, leaning, crouching, and walking
• Ability to work for extended periods of time, and entire shifts in our walk-in refrigerated coolers or freezers
