SPUD.ca is looking for an Inbound Team Member to join our growing team working a schedule of Monday-Wednesday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities: 

  • Restock shelves and update inventory on a daily basis.
  • Use a pallet jack / forklift to organize pallets and keep warehouse in good order.
  • Maintain order and cleanliness, through proper management of packaging waste.
  • Receive shipments from vendors and suppliers- checking over invoicing, and quality.
  • Work in a warehouse environment; we have large walk-in coolers, so being comfortable working in a chilly environment, continuously on a daily basis, is really important.
  • Take initiative and be willing to assist others as necessary, be happy to roll up your sleeves and get the job done!
  • Stack items so they are organized, and put misplaced items where they belong.
  • Throw or recycle trash; be conscientious of recycling or reusing rather than tossing.
  • Sweep, mop, scrape, shine surfaces, remove unused items.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Job requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously
  • Ability to work on your feet all day, bending, leaning, crouching and walking
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time, and entire shifts in our walk-in refrigerated coolers or freezers
  • Forklift License/Qualification
  • Experience stocking and/or receiving is an asset
  • Experience in a warehouse setting and/or within the grocery industry
  • Be goal oriented with a desire to exceed expectations
  • A keen eye for detail and organization
  • High cleaning standards would be terrific
  • Ability to be punctual, reliable, and productive
  • Ability to make quick quality decisions
  • Team spirit and willingness to work together
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude
  • Interest in joining a fun loving, fast moving company
